These are pretty, and good to serve food in to make a nice matching table. It's useful because you can put the food in these in the oven to keep warm until you can serve then.But these are NOT mixing bowls by any stretch of the imagination. They are very heavy. Because of the heaviness of them, they honestly don't see much use except on the occasional holiday I'll pull them out.
