Aviation Survival Firestarter Review

I tried this type of fire starter and I'm just not impressed.You need a good knife to make shavings with, and then if you aren't careful you need to sharpen the knife.The sparking rod on the top doesn't really give you a shower of sparks either.Once you get your shavings lit it does ok, but it's more work than it's worth.I'd look into the Swedish FireSteel instead.Much better product, more sparks and no knife required.
