We finally purchased this stainless steel carafe after breaking (DOH!) two glass ones (while washing and rinsing in the kitchen sink).Who wants to be without their morning cup of joe? Not us!
The inconvenience of not being able to see how much coffee is left in the carafe is of no comparison when you can't even make your coffee. Fits our old reliable Braun 4092 perfectly. If anything, I wish the steel was just a tad bit thicker but it works great as is.
