CorningWare French White 16-Ounce Round Dish Review

This handy individual sized casserole is just perfect for the microwave, oven, or storing food in the fridge. I also reccommend the Corning Wear French White 15 oz ovals as well. I use both types when I make a big batch of lazana and place the rest in anindividual casseroles. Then, I have my lunch ready for the next day to heat up! Note that this is not the original pyrocream --instead this is made of stoneware. This stoneware works ONLY in a microwave or regular oven. It does not work on the COOKTOP of a stove. Also note that the newer Corning Ware is of stoneware. The reason that I scored this a 4 and not a 5 is because it is not the original procream and it does not work on the cooktop. You will see more in the excellent BLOG if you look for this in Google called: "What happened to Corning Ware?" This is a real eye opener and I learned much reading this wonderful discussion!
