Rutland Prod. WI-00710 Williams Stove Polish Review

Rutland Prod. WI-00710 Williams Stove PolishEvery spring I wipe down my insert and groan... this year I tried this stove polish and WOW.I know it says for unpainted stoves but I used it like shoe polish.Put a little on a rag, rubbed it on, buffed it off until the cloth came up clean. With a painted surface, I used very little but the stove looks brand-new again! It took ring marks off where I put my 'water dishes' and the wax marks where I keep a jar of candle wax for scenting the house.
I can't wait to visit Mom and the in-laws so I can do their free-standing stoves!

Update: October 2009 - First Burn.
I expected a nasty smell and there wasn't one.Just a little 'aroma' but nothing nasty.Over the summer, when dusting the insert, if I dusted lightly with a dry cloth it looked great. This week, I gave it a good buffing and it reactivated the product (the cloth was black) and looked all shiny and freshly polished again. The other two stoves we did also look great and I will put this on my list of MUST HAVE products. It's not fast and easy but the best things in life rarely are!
