CorningWare French White 4-Piece Bake and Serve Set Review

I felt compelled to write a review after reading the other 1-star review, which did not address the product, but Amazon.I couldn't believe anyone would give these 1 star.I have had these for 8 years, and they have been nothing but great.My mom always had Corningware when I was growing up, the white ones with the little blue flowers on the side.When I got married, I wanted something with that versatility, but I didn't think the little blue flowers would fit into my modern kitchen.That's when I discovered French White.They're affordable, and they look great enough to serve in, they clean up so easily, you can use them on the stove, in freezer, fridge, dishwasher and oven.It's nice to store in these instead of plastic, b/c they don't stain, and they don't impart a plastic flavor to your food.The glass covers are beautiful, but a bit of a pain, since they can slide off, and you can't put anything on top of them in the fridge.If you can find the tight-fitting plastic lids for sale separately, that's the ultimate combination.I have quite a bit of French White and I'm still adding to my collection.You won't be disappointed with these (presuming they arrive in one piece!)
