Ordered Monday- unit was at the door Friday in spite of the Mid Atlantic blizzard of Feb 2010. Unit looks just like the original Vermont Castings combustor and works just as well. I installed it immediately and am now again enjoying the double combustion heat output that the Encore stove is built to deliver.
It replaces a 4 month old bargain (not from Amazon) priced ClearSkies CS-200 that never worked properly- even after returning the first bad one for exchange.
I found the Amazon description confusing (mixing some text about a round unit in the description of the rectangular unit that I needed) so I called Condar and spoke to the Customer Service rep who was friendly and ensured that they shipped the right one.
While not inexpensive, the Condar unit is very effective and well worth the price paid.
Forget the bargains- this is the unit to buy- and it's made in the USA as well!
